Steven received his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University, and holds a Master of Architecture degree from M.I.T. He moved to Los Angeles in 1989 to work with celebrated designer Franklin Israel with whom he eventually partnered and collaborated on a number of noteworthy commercial and residential projects. After Israel’s death in 1996, the firm evolved into Callas Shortridge Architects until 2010, when Steven founded Shortridge Architects. Steven is a registered architect and member of the American Institute of Architects. <
